PHAMOTSE AFFIRMS MOLELEKI’S SPEECH AT AD RALLY.
Phamotse affirms Moleleki’s speech at AD rally.
09 August 2018 | 15:50

The Secretory General of Alliance of Democrats(AD) Dr Mahali Phamotse, said citizens who love their own countries know the history of their own countries and they are not ashamed of it, because it is only when one knows where he comes from that he will also know where he is going.

This she said yesterday at a press conference at the AD Headquarters in Maseru East.

Dr Phamotse stated that there are rumours pointing at AD leader Honorable Monyane Moleleki, in his speech at a political rally in Hlotse Leribe on the 4th September 2018.

She further said a lot of people with their different motives use their authority and intelligence, to make it a habit of always quoting out of context the AD leader Honorable Moleleki.

However Dr Phamotse emphasized that it is her responsibility as the party principal secretary, to stop and make clarity to all members of AD and to the Basotho nation at large, as well as to other political parties which choose to quote out of context Honorable Moleleki whenever he speaks, as well as causing confusion within the 4by4 government.

Dr Phamotse further said what Honorable Moleleki mentioned in his speech at AD rally in Leribe did not come out in a wrong way, because he neither insulted nor criticized any one.

She said Honorable Moleleki did not intend to hurt anybody’s feelings whatsoever, as well as undermine any political party.

In his speech at the rally Honorable Moleleki mentioned and explained their party slogan; “Pele Feela, Morao ho Tletse,” and said with this some people believe they mean they are not going back to where they are coming from because of too much corruption there.

He said by this they mean where they are coming from there is a lot of hatred, calling of names, killings amongst members of the same party, and it is full of the blood of Basotho who were killed and buried at Lipeketheng by other Basotho.

According to Honorable Phamotse some journalist and members of the public quoted Honorable Moleleki out of context on this part of his speech.
