The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offences, DCEO’s principal Investigations, Mr. Likotsi who has been suspended from his duty, is fighting back.

Mr Likotsi is being investigated by the DCEO’s director, Brigadier Mantsho Sello, who is said to have made the decision to temporarily suspend him because he suspected him of corruption and fraud in some of the cases.

However, Likotsi has filed a case in the Maseru High Court, where he is challenging this decision. He also says one of the DCEO officers, Mr. Litelu Ramokhoro is protecting politicians, especially those who are supporting the government, preventing their cases from being prosecuted.

He said LCD leader, Mr. Methejoa Metsing and the ACL church, have not been charged but there is a case of money launching which they are suspected to have participated in.

Meanwhile, in a letter written to the Lesotho police commissioner, Borotho Matsoso, he said the police should take action against the head of the Public Education and Corruption Prevention Office, Mr Litelu Ramokhoro, as he is the one who directly defeats the end of Justice by protecting Mr. Metsing.
