The newly appointed District Administrator Leribe Mr. Letsema Khalanyane has urged Heads of Departments to cooperate and work together for the development of Leribe.This was his first meeting with Heads of Departments at District Administrator premises Hlotse in Leribe on Tuesday.

He indicated that it is the responsibility of each Head of Department to attend the monthly meeting as to plan together for the betterment of the district. In addition, Khalanyane said the success of the district is up to them as they are here to serveas civil servants for long term not on political basis like him.

Moreover, he said the Heads of Departments need to assist each other this it is important to urge others to attend meetings.Talking about Leribe, he said the district is one of the largest and working together with Heads of Departments will make them achieve big. He said Leribe is admired by people in other districts and it would be a disgrace to hear unsatisfying issues about it.

Speaking at the meeting, Administration Manager Mrs.&Maletsika Motsokotsi said amongst the things to be improved are the support of Heads of Departments to the activities carried out in the district. She said others are just concerned on themselves yet the District Administrator has got authority over them.
