QACHA 'S NEK PRIMARY SCHOOLS CELEBRATES MOSHOESHOE 'S DAY

Qacha's Nek ___ The Qacha 's Nek Primary schools celebrated Moshoeshoe's day, whereby there were 24 Primary schools locking horns in Final competition, this was a Second Competition after the six Resource competition winning, of the district.

There were eight traditional dances. Ndlamu girls and boys, Tšipho, Moqoqopelo, Mokhibo, Litolobonya, Mohobelo and Liphotha.

The Parliament Candidate of Qacha's Nek No. 69 Mr. Mohlahlobi Busa, with other Qacha's nek candidates bought trophies of sliver, bronze and gold.

Mr. Busa emphasised, that "my interest is to make sure that students are well informed about their culture, we still hope to give more education about culture,” he said.

In the same vein Deputy District Education Manager Mr. Mapepe Rakotje, said this celebration was essential to students and teachers as it will bring unity among different schools in spite the challenge of lack of resources while preparing for the ceremony.

The awards winning schools of trophies who achieved first positions, were Makhalong Primary school with Litolobonya and Ndlamo, Pheellong Primary school with Mokhibo, United Primary with Ndlamu, Rojane Primary School with Mohobelo St. Joseph Ndlamo boys, Tšipho, and Liphotha.

Speaking to Lesotho News Agency Mrs. Maponts'o Qhobosheane the Principal of St. Joseph said, she worked very hard together with teachers and students to achieve best results of three gold trophies, Even though they have a challenge of no sponsorship while going National Region.

The winning teams of first positions will be participating at the National Region at Morija Cultural celebration.
