Berea ___ A body of an unknown woman was found in the wee hours of Monday in Mapoteng.

The chief of Ha Ramahoete in Makhoroana Mapoteng Mr Sekhomo Molise said he received a call from villagers alerting him of a naked body dumped in the middle of the road.

“The woman was completely unclothed, with only a hat covering her private part,” Molise uttered. He mentioned that no one knew of the lady, except that he she had been cohabiting with one of the men in the village for a period of a year.

“I only know of the man who allegedly stays with the deceased, who was supposed to have alerted me as the chief in order for me to be aware of the people in my village,” he further explained.

In conclusion, the chief mentioned how the well-being and safety of Mapoteng residents continues to be a great concern as the number of people being killed seems to be rising, especially women.

It is unclear as to what happened to the lady, further investigation will be conducted to find out who is responsible for her death.
