Members of Lesotho teachers unions gathered together in Maseru yesterday, to hear the decision of the court regarding their trial against the Ministry of Education and Training, on the increase of their salaries.

At the gathering a member of LEPSA who is also the Public Relations Officer of the three unions of LAT, LTTU and LEPSA Mr T’sepo Lethobane, said the trial was not held but was postponed to Friday the 10th August 2018.

He encouraged teachers to go back to their respective jobs until Thursday this week, as they are expected to meet again at the same place on Friday this week, to come and hear the final decision of the court on their trial.

He called on all teachers to prepare their identity documents needed by the court, during the time before Friday to avoid other long processes.

At the same gathering a member of Lesotho Teachers Trade Union(LTTU) Mr Ntholelo Cheche, pointed out that the trial was not treated well, as they left their homes with their own expenses, to come and hear the final decision of the court, and they are also expected to come again on Friday.
