The Ministry of Development Planning together with development partners in Lesotho held a meeting in Maseru yesterday, to discuss development issues in different government ministries, and in other related development departments.

During the meeting the Minister of Development Planning Honourable Tlohelang Aumane, said the purpose of the meeting was to share development ideas with development stakeholders, to help the country to have clear development policies.

He said financial grants to Lesotho by international organizations are not all for free, but most of them are low interest loans which they pay after many years.

He also said there are still some grants the international aid organizations donate to Lesotho, though they are no longer as many as they used to be, and currently they receive grants mostly in the form of loans.
