Econet Telecom Lesotho (ELT) donated Christmas gifts to orphaned children, at God’s Love Centre at Sekamaneng in Maseru on Tuesday the 10th December 2019.

In his opening remarks ETL General Manager Mr. Lebohang Ramaisa, said ETL remembered these children during this time of the year, when parents buy their own children new clothes for Christmas.

Mr Ramaisa articulated that the future of Lesotho is in the hands of children, and so children need to be taken care of and be loved.

When receiving the gifts the founder and also the caretaker of orphaned children at God’s Love Centre Mrs. Neo ‘Matant’si, said God’s Love Centre supports double orphaned children and those whose parents are extremely poor, and currently has thirty-two orphaned children.

’Mantant’si further explained that God’s Love Centre was found in the year 2000, and that in 2009 they bought a piece of land in Sekamaneng where they built their residences.

At the same event the Minister of Social Development Advocate ‘Mole K’humalo, congratulated ETL for the effort it takes to help orphaned and vulnerable children.

He said many children live under sorrowful occurrences in their families due to the carelessness of their parents.

Econet Telecom Lesotho donated ten mattresses, beds and food to God’s Love Centre.
