Women have a higher educational attainment rate than their men counterparts, hence have what it takes to change the image of Lesotho.

This was said by Miss ‘Mants’alla Ramakhula of Lesotho Council of Non-Governmental Organisations, adding that women are key leaders in families and to some extend in their workplaces, the more reason things can get better in the country if women can remember that they have power to change the scenario.

In different media platforms, particularly social media, she stated that women are the ones setting an agenda on what should be talked about, adding the need for women to start playing a positive role in up-lifting other women who have registered milestones in their careers.

Meanwhile, reports from the Ministry of Education and Training has shown that in secondary education, there are 1.6 women to a men, which is the highest ratio in the world for female education accomplishment.
