Senior Youth Officer under Department of Youth, Ministry of Gender, Youth, Sports and Social Development has called out to civil servants to prepare for Wellness Day to be hosted by LESANA Financial Services on October 14 in Butha Buthe.

Mr. Lekhabunyane Khoeli has highlighted that the civil servants should come for practice sessions held every Wednesday at Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) playgrounds.

He reminded that the sports codes are international netball, volleyball, tuck of war and football.

Khoeli said the players and supporters are all expected to make the games exciting.

Referring to the games, he said the winners will be presented with medals and trophies, saying they do need as many players as possible.

He said later in the night on Saturday there will be a gala dinner for those willing to attend.

The Administration Manager District Administrator's office Mrs. 'Maletsika Motsokotsi has appealed to the ministries and departments to allow the employees to go for practice.

She mentioned that the practice will not accommodate well known players from teams such as Linare.

Motsokotsi reminded that the sports codes are international netball, football, volleyball and tug of war.

One managing LESANA Financial Services in the Northern Region Mr. Tumo Nkhasi said the purpose of the event is to revive the servants because of the services they have been enduring at LESANA.

He highlighted that LESANA has allocated M100, 000.00 towards the event, which will cover all needed for the day, citing food, sports attire for teams and trophies and medals.

This is the first event of its kind hosted by LESANA Financial Services for the two districts of Leribe and Butha Buthe
