The Minister of Communications, Science and Technology Honorable Serialong Qoo toured the new building of Lesotho Post Bank LPB Headquarters in Maseru, to examine the bank’s management performance and its progress.

He commended the bank for the progress it has made so far in terms of its development and service delivery, and hopes it will remain loyal to its customers by offering services at low costs, adding that they are expecting the bank to strive to reach international standards.

Honorable Qoo encouraged civil servants and government Ministries to open accounts and save money at LPB as it is owned by the government.
The LPB Managing Director, Mr. Molefi Leqhaoe said the new building has enabled them to offer effective services to their customers, saying the bank is working hard to improve its services and upgrade its performance.

He added that they are currently working on improving Automated Teller Machines ATMs to enhance money transfers and withdrawals in foreign countries, and the bank is looking forward to opening branches in some districts of the country such as Mokhotlong, Mohale’s Hoek, Botha-Bothe and Berea.

The new LPB headquarters building started operations in December last year.
