The Right Honorable the Prime Minister Dr Motsoahae Thomas Thabane officiated the 20th Anniversary of Botho University at an occasion held in Maseru yesterday.

In his remarks Thabane said the school should be one of the schools Basotho take heed to.

He reiterated that Lesotho needs schools like Botho for her to reach the economical needs. On the other hand the Vice Chancellor Mrs Shila Rajah said the mission and the vision of the school is to align themselves with Lesotho market and the nation at large.

She also indicated that since the beginning of this year, the school engaged with the  public on developmental projects that include supporting school libraries, training street vendors with financial skills and training police with information and technology skills.

The school has three years operating in Lesotho. It was established in 1997 in Botswana. The school is three years old in the country.
